Operating other manufacturers' VCR

By changing the remote control signals from preset ones to the other manufacturers', you can use the remote control supplied
for this system to operate other manufacturers' VCRs.
• You can also operate other manufacturers' TVs using the remote control supplied with this system. (See page 20.)
• When operating other manufacturers' VCR, aim the remote control directly at the remote control sensor on your VCR.
Refer also to the instruction manuals supplied with your VCR.

7 Setting the remote control signal for operating your
VCR.
VCR
• You can operate your VCR without setting the remote control signal if your VCR
button is a JVC VCR.
1 Slide the remote control mode selector to "DVD."
2 Press and hold VCR
Keep it pressed until step 4 is finished.
Number buttons
3 Press VCR CONTROL.
4 Press Number buttons (1-9, 0) to enter a manufacturer's code
(2 digit).
