Step 10. HOOD INSTALLATION

The hood is optional for these products. In "Shadow Box" installations, the hood may not be
desired. If the opening above the door is objectionable (as is the case in certain "Flush-Mounted"
installations) the hood may be used.
If desired, install the optional hood. Note the location of the three clips inside the top air channel
above the door. The clips are equally spaced on the top surface of the air channel opening. Use
a screwdriver to open the clips slightly if needed. Engage the back edge of the hood into the clips
to secure.
FINISHING REQUIREMENTS - Wall Details
Complete finished interior wall. To install the appliance facing flush with the finished wall, position
framework to accommodate the thickness of the finished wall (Figure 50).
