Check the followinglistto be sure a servicecall is really necessary. A quick reference
of this manual may prevent an unneededservice call.
If nothing on the oven operates:
• check for a blown circuitfuse or a trippedmain circuitbreaker.
• check if oven is prepedy connectedto electric circuitin house.
If clock and/or lights operate but oven does not heat:
• the Selectorand/orTemperature Knobs may be set incorrectly.
• clock controlsmay be set for delayed start of oven.
If the oven light does not work:
• the lightbulb is looseor defective.
If oven will not go through self-cleaning process:
• controlsmay be improperlyset.
• door may not be locked.
• checkthe clockcontrolledsettingsand the currenttime of day on the clock.
If oven did not clean properly:
• oven may need longercleaning time.
• excessivespillswere not removed priorto self-cleaningprocess.
• one or several controlsmay have been turnedfrom Cleanto anotherposition after
self-cleaningprocessstarted.
If oven door will not unlock:
• oven may not have cooled to safe temperatureafter self-cleaningprocess.
• TemperatureKnob may have been switchedfrom Clean position,
• electriccurrentcomingintothe oven may be off.
If foods do not broil properly:
• the Selector and/orTemperatureKnobs may not be set properly.
• checkrack position,
• voltageinto housemay be low.
