a lowertemperaturesettingwillcause the broilelement to cycleon and off. This
feature can be used for foodsthat need to cook more slowly or need less radiant
heat. If foodsare broiling too fast, the controlcan be set at a lowertemperatureto
reducethe cookingspeed ratherthan movingthe broilerpan to a lower rack.
