1 VIDEO OUT - VIDEO jack (16)
Outputs a composite video signal.
2 VIDEO OUT - S-VIDEO jack (16)
Outputs an S-video signal.
Note that this jack is not active when you make the
COMPONENT VIDEO OUT jacks active. See "How to make
the COMPONENT VIDEO OUT jacks active" on page 17 for
details.
3 VIDEO OUT SELECT switch (NTSC/PAL) (16)
Selects "NTSC" or "PAL " to match the color system of
your TV. Note that the unit power must be off (standby)
when you change the switch position.
Otherwise, the changed setting will not be effective.
4 VIDEO OUT - COMPONENT jacks (Y/P
Output component video signals.
These jacks are not active in the initial (factory preset)
condition. See "How to make the COMPONENT VIDEO
OUT jacks active" on page 17 for details.

6 AV COMPU LINK jacks (60)
Connects with other JVC equipment supporting the AV
Compulink function to facilitate integrated operations.
7 ATTENUATOR (ON/OFF) switch (16)
Attenuates the audio output level when it is set to ON.
8 AUDIO OUT jacks (Left/Right) (16, 18)
Outputs stereo analog audio signals.
9 DIGITAL OUT jack(s) (COAXIAL/OPTICAL) (18)
Outputs digital audio signals. You must select the
signal type correctly according to the external device
connected to via the Preference display.

Connects to the wall outlet using the suppplied AC
power cord.
