Installation in cabinetry
The depth of the installation depends
on what type of light shield is used and
the dimensions of surrounding
cabinetry.
Hood installed with a DFB light
shield (optional accessory)
To install the hood so that the light
shield is flush with the adjacent
cabinetry, the following dimensions
must be used. (Please refer to the
metric conversion table)
– A minimum cabinet depth of 10
(273 mm) when using a
thick door panel
– A minimum cabinet depth of 10
(270 mm) when using a
thick door panel

A custom made, matching light shield
can be mounted on the hood. To do this
the minimum cabinet depth must be

Filler Strip a
The adjustable filler strip a can be
used to conceal gaps of
(10 - 70 mm) between the rear of the
