PARKING
1. After stopping the motorcycle, shift
th e
t ra n sm iss io n in to
neutr al, t urn
the fuel valve "OFF"
and tum the
ignition switch "OFF".
2. Use the side or center stand to support
the motorcycle while parked.
CAUTION :
Park the motorcycle on firm, le1)el ground
to preyent orerturning.
3. Lock the steering to help prevent theft
(pase 23).
N OT E :
* When stopping for a short time near
traffic at night, the ignition switch may
be tumed to "P" and the key removed.
This will tum on the taillight to make
the notorcycle more visible to traffic.
The battery will discharge if the ignition
switch is left at "P" for too long a time.
