• When you connect a computer to the
camera using the VISCA cable (RS-232C
cross cable), you can control the camera
from a computer.
• In the case of VISCA RS-232C
connection, make sure that the BOTTOM
switch is set to RS-232C (page 41).
• It is not possible to connect both VISCA
RS-232C and VISCA RS-422
simultaneously.

• Do not mix VISCA RS-232C (cross) and
VISCA RS-422 cables. Using these cables
at the same time may result in
malfunction.
To obtain a cable, consult your Sony dealer.
