IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY, A FIRE OR EXPLOSION

A. This appliance is equipped with an ignition
device which automatically lights the pilot.
Do not try to light the pilot by hand.
B. BEFORE LIGHTING, smell all around the
appliance area for gas. Be sure to smell next
to the floor because some gas is heavier than
air and will settle to the floor.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:
• Extinguish any open flame.
• Open windows.
• Do not light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switches.
• Do not use any phone in your building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a
neighbor's phone.
• If your gas supplier cannot be reached, call
the fire department.
1. STOP! Read the safety information above.
2. Set the thermostat to the lowest setting.
3. Set the Burner Control Switch to the "OFF"
position.

4. Set the Pilot Mode switch to the IPI / DC
position for intermitant pilot and draw collar
functionality. See Operation Manual for
details.
Set the Pilot Mode switch to CPI for continu-
ous pilot functionality. Use this mode in the
event of a power outage.

TO TURN OFF GAS TO THE APPLIANCE:
1. Set the thermostat to the lowest setting.
2. Turn off all electric power to the appliance if
service is to be performed.
CAUTION:
Do not operate this appliance
with the glass removed, cracked or broken. Replace-
ment of the glass panel shall be done by a licensed
or qualified serviceperson.
