Memory Tune Operation

You may freely tune off from any memory channel in a " emory Tune" mode, this is similar to VF operation. So long
as you do not over-write the contents of the current memory,

Computer software programs utili ing the C T sys-
tem interface port may presume that the transceiver is
operating in the VF
mode, for certain features like
"band mapping" and or fre uency logging, because the
" emory Tune" mode so closely resembles the VF
mode. Be sure that you have the FT
a control mode compatible with your software's re uire-
ments. Use the VF mode if you're not sure.
