In order to be able to record on a used cassette tape without any quality problems, erase
the recordings on the cassette using the QUICK ERASE function.
Insert the cassette containing the content that you want to erase.

Press FUNCTIONS in stop mode.
Use
to select QUICK ERASE and confirm with ENTER.
Press ENTER for 5 seconds to start the QUICK ERASE function.
The erase procedure takes about 30 minutes for an E-180 cassette. Once the end of the
cassette has been reached, the unit automatically rewinds the tape.

Erase all recordings on a played tape.

(in 16:9 format, the messages are not visible).

: Information appears on the edge of the screen
(in 4:3 format, the messages appear in the middle).
OFF
: No information is displayed
