8 Functional Checks (Commissioning Part III)
• Yellow flame indicator (2) ON.
• Green warmstart indicator (3) FLASHING (hot water is
being drawn from the system).
Central Heating operation
• Operate the heating system.
If boiler is operating correctly, the status of the
indicators will be as follows:
• Red lock out indicator (1) OFF.
• Yellow flame indicator (2) ON (burner active).
• Green warmstart indicator (3) ON, OFF or FLASHING
(see above).
The LCD display indicates the flow temperature (in °C)
of the boiler in normal operation.

8.3 Functional check of operation
(thermoCOMPACT only)
This boiler is fitted with indicator lights to display the
operating status of the boiler. The status of the
indicators in normal operation will be as follows.
Boiler in stand by mode
• Red lock out indicator (1) OFF.
• Yellow flame indicator (2) OFF.
• Green indicator (3) has no function.
Central Heating/hot water operation
• Operate the heating/hot water system.
If boiler is operating correctly, the status of the
indicators will be as follows:
• Red lock out indicator (1) OFF.
• Yellow flame indicator (2) ON (burner active).
• Green indicator (3) OFF.
The LCD display indicates the flow temperature (in °C)
of the boiler in normal operation.

8.4 Adjusting pump speed

The unit is fitted with a two-speed pump. The pump is
delivered with the switch (1) set to position III (Fig. 8.4.).
It is possible, however, to change the pump setting from
Level III to Level II manually when there is noise coming
from the heating system.
