The depth that a fastener is driven is controlled by the pressure of the air
supply. The amount of pressure required will vary depending on the size of the
fastener being used and the material being fastened. Experiment with the air
pressure setting to determine the best pressure for the job at hand. Use only
enough pressure to drive the fastener heads on top of the workpiece (not into
the workpiece). Air pressure in excess of that required will cause premature
wear and/or damage to the tool.
