This section provides a general overview of the TANDBERG MediaPlace videocon-
ferencing system and some of its optional components. The MediaPlace system
comes in three boxes.

Inside the MediaPlace cart packaging is an accessory kit which includes:
• Plastic Nut inserts for bottom of codec
• Mating half of Projector Mount with plastic spacers
• Screws for mounting codec to codec shelf.
• DVD/VCR Infrared Remote Control (with batteries)
• 25 ft. PC Video cable with Audio
• 25 ft. Video Cable for Document Camera

The heart of the TANDBERG MediaPlace videocon-
ferencing system is the codec. The codec, with
integrated W.A.V.E camera, is mounted on an
adjusting shelf on the mobile cart.
The MediaPlace solution can support a series of TANDBERG set-tops (770/880/990)
for multiple networks and operating speeds, including wireless LAN.

The set-top codec is integrated with a remote controllable Wide Angle View camera
(WAVE). It is a high quality color camera with a fast pan/tilt/zoom action. Please

The mobile cart integrates an amplified speaker that provides quality audio during
a multimedia presentation.
