Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?
F3 CHECK CIRCUIT 605 (RD) FOR AN OPEN (TO MODULE)
Measure the resistance between IWE solenoid C1157 pin 2 harness side and four
wheel drive control module C3184b pin 12 harness side circuit 605 (RD).
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
F4 CHECK THE IWE SOLENOID RESISTANCE
Measure the resistance between IWE solenoid C1157-1 and C1157-2 component
side.
Is the resistance between 68 and 78 ohms?
F5 CHECK CIRCUIT 605 (RD) FOR AN OPEN (TO CJB)
Remove CJB fuse 11 (10A).
Measure the resistance between fuse cavity 11, output side and IWE solenoid C1157
pin 1 harness side, circuit 605 (RD).
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

GO to F3.
No
REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test.
Yes
GO to F4.
No
REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test.
Yes
GO to F5.
No
INSTALL a new IWE solenoid. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the
self-test.
Yes
INSTALL a new IWE solenoid. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the
self-test.
No
REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test.
