8 – Editing Tracks
This operation inserts recorded data into the COPY destination
track. The recorded data on the COPY destination track after the
TO point is offset by the amount of time used by the inserted
audio data. Therefore, the COPY destination track becomes
longer.
You can make multiple copies in a single operation. In other
words, you can insert a designated number of repetitions of the
COPY data into the COPY destination track from the TO point.
The following parameters are used in this operation.
• SOURCE TRK (1 to 8, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 1-8)
• IN/OUT/TO
• DESTINATION TRK
• COPY TIMES

MOVE/PASTE

The audio data between the IN and OUT points on the MOVE
source track is removed and pasted in the MOVE destination
track starting from the TO point. This operation leaves a silence
between the IN and OUT points on the MOVE source track.
This operation overwrites recorded data on the MOVE
destination track. Therefore, the length of the MOVE destination
track is not changed.
The following parameters are used in this operation.
• SOURCE TRK (1 to 8, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 1-8)
• IN/OUT/TO
• DESTINATION TRK

MOVE/INSERT

The audio data between the IN and OUT points on the MOVE
source track is removed and inserted in the MOVE destination
track from the TO point. This operation leaves a silence between
the IN and OUT points on the MOVE source track.
This operation inserts recorded data into the MOVE destination
track starting from the TO point. Therefore, the MOVE destination
track becomes longer.
The following parameters are used in this operation.
• SOURCE TRK (1 to 8, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 1-8)
• IN/OUT/TO
• DESTINATION TRK

OPEN (insert silence)

This function inserts silence between the IN and OUT points on
the selected track.
This function splits the track at the IN point and shifts the
recorded data after the IN point to after the OUT point.
Therefore, the track becomes longer.
The following parameters are used in this operation.
• OPEN TRK (1 to 8, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 1-8, ALL)
• IN/OUT
