MASTER CYLINDER CONSTRUCTION
• A plunger-type master cylinder with a 22.22 mm {0.875 in} bore has been adopted, improving durability.
Note
• Plunger type: A system where the cups are fixed on the cylinder, and the piston slides through the inner
perimeter of the cups.
• For vehicles with DSC, the master cylinder outlet pipe diameter has been increased, improving response during
DSC operation.
• Except for the reservoir, the master cylinder cannot be disassembled. Therefore, if there is any malfunction in
the interior of the master cylinder, replace the cylinder component without disassembling.

POWER BRAKE UNIT CONSTRUCTION
• A 10-inch, large diameter, single diaphragm type
power brake unit has been adopted for all models,
achieving compatibility between high braking
performance and excellent brake feeling.

FRONT BRAKE (DISC) CONSTRUCTION
Standard Suspension Specification Vehicles
• Ventilated disc type front brakes with a 303 mm {11.9 in} diameter and 24 mm {0.94 in} thickness have been
adopted.
Sport Suspension Specification Vehicles
• Large diameter, ventilated disc type front brakes with a 323 mm {12.7 in} diameter and 24 mm {0.94 in}
thickness have been adopted.
• The number of ribs in the ventilated plate have
been increased, improving fade resistance.
