MERGE
MERGE "PR03"
Merges the first program from the tape.
Searches the tape for the program named 'PR03' and merges it.
Note: For example, assume the Computer memory contains the following program:
10: PRINT "DEPRECIATION ALLOWANCE"
20: INPUT "ENTER METHOD: " ; A
At this point, you remember that you have a similar program portion on tape under the filename "DEP1". You will, of course,
want to
see
if this program has sections useful in the program you are currently constructing. The first step is to find the tape with
"DEP1" on it. Cue the tape to the place at which "DEP1" starts.
Now type: MERGE "DEP1"andpress
(ENTER) .
The computer will now load "DEP1" into memory IN ADDITION to the above program. After "DEP1" is loaded, you might find
something in memory similar to this:
