Successful Transfer Indication

Previously, when a call transfer was made on the phone, and the transfer failed, a mes-
sage displayed indicating that the transfer had failed. However, if a call transfer was
successful, no message displayed indicating the successful transfer.
In Release 2.6, the phone now displays a message when a call transfer is successful.
After the call transfer is complete, the following message now displays for 5 seconds:
"Call Transferred".

Errors Messages Display when Incorrect Network Settings

Previously, when an Administrator entered incorrect network settings for specific
parameters, the phone did not notify the User that the settings were incorrect. Even
when the phone rebooted it accepted the parameters but ignored the incorrect set-
tings. These errors include:
A 0.0.0.0 entered as values for the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway parame-
ters
IP Address and Gateway IP address parameter values entered exactly the same
Gateway IP address and the IP address parameter values configured on the same
subnet
In Release 2.6, the IP Phone UI AND the Aastra Web UI now immediately notify the
Administrator if an incorrect value is being entered for the above network parameters
in the IP Phone UI and the Aastra Web UI. If you configure the Gateway parameter and
the IP Address parameter on the same subnet, the following error message displays:
"Gateway IP address and the IP address parameter values configured are not on the same
subnet"
