4. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card holder in the battery
compartment. Make sure that the metal contacts of the SIM
card face downward and the cut corner is at the top left as
illustrated.
To release the SIM card, push to release it.
5. Place the battery on its original position (1), and then slide
"Battery retainer A" to the lock

Connecting to the networks using 3G

1. Make sure that the SIM card is inserted as instructed in
"Inserting the SIM card" on page
2. Go to Start > All Programs > HSPA modem > HSPA
modem.
3. If your SIM card is protected by the Personal Identification
Number (PIN), enter the PIN in the pop-up dialog box
before you connect to the networks.
4. Wait for the Joybook Lite to initialize the program until the
device is ready.
5. Click . Follow the on-screen instructions to complete
the setup, if necessary.
6. Click Connect. If the connection is made, there will be a
successful message showing that you have connected to the
network.
The SIM card will be locked if you enter the PIN incorrectly three
times in a row. You must now enter the PUK (Personal
Unblocking Key) for the SIM card in order to unlock it. Please
contact your service provider to obtain a PUK.
When travelling by air, please be sure to turn off wireless
networking to avoid any possible risks to flight safety.
