When you send an E-mail using the transmission function, the date and time of this setting will be printed in the header of E-mail message. To use the E-mail function, the scanner system should be connected to an E-mail server using the POP3 protocol.

    Preparation before Use Registering the Address Book This machine has an address book function. When an E-mail address, the path to a PC folder (SMB), FTP server's path, and FAX number are registered in the address book, it can transmit directly from the operation panel.

Optional Cassettes 3 and 4 Follow the steps below to clear paper jams in cassettes 3 or 4 when using the optional paper feeder or 3,000-sheet capacity paper feeder. Open left cover 3.
