OPERATIONAL MANUAL FRONT PANEL LAYOUT (ALL VERSIONS) CHANNEL I – EF86 PREAMP 1. INPUT JACK SOCKETS Guitar input jacks into the EF86 channel. These are wired in the traditional way that gives a 6dB difference in gain between them. The socket nearer the front of the amp is the higher gain, the one nearest the rear of the chassis is 6dB quieter. -

- Page 16 Obwohl das originale Design die letzten 50 Jahre gut genug war, wollten wir die Klangregelung etwas moderner würzen und haben ein paar Details verändert, von denen wir glauben, dass sie den Spaß an den Amps steigern werden. Zunächst haben wir beim originalen Brilliance Schalter des EF86 Kanals drei Stellungen statt zwei vorgesehen und haben einen Bass Shift Schalter (der den Klang der Amps auch bei hohen Lautstärken knackig hält) und einen Schalter für Pentode auf Triode Modus eingebaut, damit Sie beide Geschmacksrichtungen des originalen EF86 Tons zur Verfügung haben.
- Page 17 5. EF86 MODE Dieser Schalter rekonfiguriert die EF86 Röhre vom Pentode Modus zum Triode Modus. Triode Modus liefert eine geringere Verstärkung und höheren Headroom. - Page 23 5. EF86 MODE Este conmutador reconfigura la válvula EF86 de funcionamiento como Pentodo a Tríodo. El modo de Triodo ofrece un tono de menor ganancia con mayor espacio sonoro libre (headroom). El modo Pentodo es el original y ofrece un sonido de ganancia de agudos muy suave sin tanto espacio sonoro libre.
