Processors
In the PRIMERGY BX620 S6 Server Blade, one (basic configuration) or two
multi-core processors of the Intel
system performance.
The addition of processors is described in the Options Guide and the
replacement of processors in the Service Supplement.

CAUTION!
You are only permitted to combine CPUs with the same clock frequency
and cache capacity in one PRIMERGY BX620 S6.
Memory
6 DIMM slots for DDR3 memory modules are available per CPU on the
PRIMERGY BX620 S6 server blade (organized in 2 banks and 3 channels).
These 12 slots for the main memory are suitable both for RDIMM (registered
DIMM) and for UDIMM (unbuffered DIMM) memory modules. You must use
modules of the same size within a memory bank.
The maximum memory configuration when equipped with UDIMM memory
modules is 24 GB (capacities: 1 GB and 2 GB) and 192 GB when equipped with
RDIMM memory modules (capacities: 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB).

You are not permitted to mix UDIMM and RDIMM memory modules.
Memory scrubbing and ChipKill
The installation of memory modules is described in the Options Guide.
Hard disk drives
The PRIMERGY BX620 S6 can accommodate up to two 2.5-inch HDD/SSD
modules (alternatively with SAS or SATA interface).
SATA HDD modules are available with capacities of 160 GB, 320 GB, or
500 GB. The maximum hard disk capacity is thus 1000 GB (2x500 GB).
SAS HDD modules are available with capacities of 73 GB, 146 GB, or 300 GB.
The maximum hard disk capacity is thus 600 GB (2x300 GB).
