Check of expansion valve (LEV)
Heating/ Cooling do not operate.
1Press the EMERGENCY OPERATION switch.
2Turn OFF the power supply.
3Turn ON the power supply.
With remote controller set toward the indoor unit,
press OPERATE/ STOP(ON/ OFF)
button and confirm one beep tone.
LEV operates in full-opening
direction.
Do you hear LEV "click,
click·······"?
Do you touch LEV and
feel it vibrate?
No
Is LEV coil properly fixed to
the body?
Yes
Is LEV coil resistance as per
characterictics below?
No
Replace the
LEV coil.
Yes
Ok
No
Properly fix LEV coil to
the body.
Replace the outdoor
Yes
electronic control P.C.
board.

Confirm again that LEV
is operating.
Do you hear LEV Yes

Replace the LEV.
