Changing the Height of Cut
Your STANLEY tow behind mower is equipped with a
floating deck that can be adjusted for cut heights of 1.5
inches to 4.5 inches in ½-inch increments. There are
two lift points (one in the front and one in the rear). A
height adjustment handle is provided and is stored in
either of the lift point sockets.
1. Place the height adjustment handle into either the
front or rear height adjustment sockets.
2. Remove the retaining clip and pin from the height
adjust bracket. Press down on the height
adjustment handle until the hole in the height adjust
bar aligns with the desired cut height hole on the
height adjust bracket.
3. Replace the retaining clip and pin in the height
adjust bracket. All four (4) height adjust pins must
be set to the same cut height position. Release
pressure on the handle.
4. Repeat the same adjustment process on the
opposite end of the mower.
Note: If your mower is equipped with wings, adjust the
cut height on the wings to match the mower for smooth
cut height.
