EXTENSIONS OR AIR GUIDES BEFORE INSTALLING THE
BRICK PANELS.
1. Install the Lower Panel.
Position it up against the back wall, resting on the
burner skirt. Fig.32.
2. Bend the retainer tab out slightly from each side of the
firebox. See fig. 33. Set one side panel in place and bend
the retainer tab down to secure the panel.
Set the Upper Panel on the Lower Panel, so that the
mortar joints align with those on the adjacent panels.
Hold it in place while setting the opposite Side Panel
against the wall. Fig. 34.
3. Adjust the Upper Panel. You should seat the Upper
Panel down and forward so that no gaps are evident at
the panel joints, as indicated by the arrows in Fig. 34.
