Place discharge chute assembly on top of chute base with discharge opening toward front of snow thrower. Position chute rotater head (A) over chute bracket (B).
- Page 16 PM85, PM105: Install chute deflector remote control Install remote cable bracket (A) to discharge chute with carriage bolt (B) and 5/16-18 lock nut (D) as shown. Tighten securely. Install remote cable eyelet (E) to chute deflector (F) with shoulder bolt (G), and 1/4-20 lock nut (K) as shown.

Check tire pressure The tires on your snow thrower were overinflated at the factory for shipping purposes. Correct and equal tire pres sure is important for best snow throw- ing performance. • Reduce tire pressure to 14–17 PSI.
