Recording a TV
Programme Using the
EPG
You can easily make a timer recording by
selecting a programme on the EPG display
and pressing
Before you start recording...
• Check that the HDD has enough available
space for the recording (page 37).
• You can open up disc space by erasing
titles (page 28).

Select a programme using </M/m/
,, and press

Select a type of recording, and press

• "Programme Recording": You cannot
change the settings manually.
• "Manual Single Recording": You can
change the start/end recording time.
• "Manual Daily/Weekly Recording":
You can set the timer for the same
daily or weekly programmes. You can
also change the start/end recording
time, and set the title name using the
number buttons.

Press
to select "OK."
A message indicating that the timer
setting is complete appears, and
appears next to the programme which is
set for "Programme Recording." Your
recorder will automatically begin
recording when the programme starts.
There is no need to turn off the recorder
before the timer recording starts.
• To modify the timer setting, see
page 19.

• If you press REC in step 2, "Programme
Recording" can be set.
• This recorder automatically adjusts the start/end
recording time for the programme set for
"Programme Recording" even if the start/end
time of the programme has changed.

When you stop the recording during recording the
programme set for "Manual Daily/Weekly
Recording," all the same daily or weekly
programme recording is cancelled.
