Shootng n Auto Mode
Auto mode s the easest mode to take photos. Whle
operatng n ths mode, the camera automatcally
optmzes your photos for best results.
To start shootng, do the followng:
1. Press the Power button to turn the camera on.
2. In the Mode menu, select the Auto mode (
3. Compose your pcture n the LCD screen and press
the Shutter button halfway to focus on the subject.
4. The focus frame n the mddle of the LCD wll turn to
green when the subject s properly n focus.
5. Press the Shutter button fully to capture the mage.

Usng the Zoom Functon
There are two bult-n zoom functons: optcal zoom and
dgtal zoom. When takng photos, you can zoom n or
out on an object usng the zoom wheel.
When the optcal

stops momentarly. Release and push the zoom wheel
agan, and the optcal zoom wll swtch over to dgtal
zoom automatcally. After the adjustment, the zoom
ndcaton scale hdes mmedately, and the current
zoom status s ndcated by the followng symbol
