The Polaroid FUN 620 Creative Kit Your Polaroid FUN 620 Digital Camera Creative Kit contains everything necessary to take digital photos, save them to your computer, and manipulate them. Caution:Before connecting the camera to your computer, install the PhotoImpression 2 software included with the camera (page 8), and restart your computer.

Turning the Camera On and Off Turn the camera on ( a ). You hear a click, the LCD ( e ) turns on, and the green power/status indicator ( b ) is lit. If the green power/status indicator is not lit, check that the batteries are properly loaded and fully charged.
English Inserting Batteries Your kit includes four AAA batteries. Turn the camera off. Open the battery door by sliding the cover out to the side as far as it will go and lifting it. Insert the batteries. Ensure that the battery terminals ( + and - ) are properly positioned (as shown).
Taking Photos Turn the camera on ( a ). The green power/status indicator ( b ) is lit. Stand at least 1 m (3 feet) from your subject. Note: For best results, take photos outdoors or indoors in a brightly lit room.
English Note: When the 1 MB camera memory is full (about 15 photos), the LCD shows the memory-full message ( FL ) and the camera issues three quick warning beeps. If you press the shutter button, the camera beeps three times, but does not take a photo.

Transferring Photos to Your Computer Turn the camera off. Turn your computer and peripherals off (Serial transfers only). Do not turn your computer off when using the computer’s USB port. Locate the connector cable. It includes plugs to connect to the camera and to your computer’s Serial or USB port (as shown).

English A TWAIN Options window opens, which lets you select the file format, the folder where photos are stored, and file names for photos. Click OK when finished. Turn the camera on. Click the Acquire button. The TWAIN software opens. TWAIN software is used to transfer and delete photos from your camera.

Select photos to transfer to your computer: To select a single photo, click on the photo thumbnail. A red border • appears around the photo. This provides an index and step-by-step procedures for using your PhotoImpression 2 software to manipulate and enhance your photos. • You can also get help with any button or feature in the software by moving your mouse cursor over it and clicking the right mouse button.
To avoid electrical shock, do not expose the camera to, or immerse it in, any fluids. Do not disassemble or operate the camera if dropped or damaged. Contact a Polaroid Service Center for repair information.
Polaroid PhotoImpression 2 Software Polaroid warrants that the software media will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. Polaroid Corporation's entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall be to repair or replace the software that does not meet Polaroid Corporation's Limited Warranty and is returned to Polaroid with a copy of your sales receipt.
