3. Bluetooth Audio Player Function
3.1 Playing Music Using Bluetooth Audio
The HYUNDAI Bluetooth radio supports the Bluetooth profile 'Advanced Audio Distribution
Profile' (A2DP).
If your mobile phone or music player supports this profile then it is possible to listen to music
tracks located on your Bluetooth device through the HYUNDAI Bluetooth radio and car
speakers.
Additionally, the HYUNDAI Bluetooth radio supports the 'Audio Video Remote Control Profile'
(AVRCP). If your Bluetooth mobile phone or music player supports this profile then it is
possible to advance to the next track or replay previous tracks on using the buttons on the
front of the HYUNDAI Bluetooth radio or steering wheel remote controls (if fitted) on your
vehicle.

until Bluetooth Audio is displayed.

4) Select the music player of your Bluetooth device.
5) Press 'PLAY' on the device to begin playback (see notes below).
6) To pause Bluetooth audio playback, press knob
for 2 seconds to resume playback.
7) Press buttons
Previous Track will be displayed on the HYUNDAI Bluetooth radio.
Using Steering Wheel Remote Control:
8) Press the MODE button until Bluetooth Audio is displayed.
9) Select the music player of your Bluetooth device.
10) Press 'PLAY' on the device to begin playback (see notes below).
11) Press UP or DOWN icon buttons on the steering wheel to advance to the next or
previous music track; Next Track or Previous Track will be displayed.
Notes When Playing Bluetooth Audio:
a. Check your Bluetooth device user manual for details of how to play music tracks via an
external Bluetooth audio system such as the HYUNDAI Bluetooth radio.
b. Some Bluetooth mobile phones cannot play music at all or may play music tracks in low
quality audio through the HYUNDAI Bluetooth radio.
c. Text Information attached to music tracks on the music player (e.g. the elapsed playing
time, song or artist name etc.) will not be displayed on the HYUNDAI Bluetooth radio.
d. Playback may automatically begin as soon as the Bluetooth Audio mode is selected
using the radio or steering wheel buttons.
e. When a device capable of playing music by Bluetooth audio and by USB connection is
connected to the radio using the USB connector (eg. iPod 'Touch' or 'iPhone' Models), it
may be necessary to manually select the audio playback route on the device when
changing modes on the Hyundai Bluetooth radio.
