Symptom
Live images are displayed
with distortion.
No information is displayed
in the recorder information
display area of the
RT4Client.
No alarm/error notification is
provided to the RT4Client.
There are difficulties to
operate the camera.
The displayed images are
not fit into the frame border.
Cause/solution
• Live images may be displayed with distortion depend-
ing on network traffic conditions when UDP or
Multicast is selected for transmission.
• Live images may be displayed with distortion when
the recorder is used for copying.
• Is the UDP port "999" of the router that is connected
to the PC open?
Refer to the "Connection with a PC" section of the
installation guide.
• The camera may become slow to react when the net-
work traffic is heavy or when the bandwidth is narrow.
• The camera may become slow to react when the load
to be processed by the recorder is large.
• Images may not be displayed properly when "120 dpi"
is set for the dpi setting.
Right-click on the desktop and select "Properties"
from the displayed pop-up menu.
Click the [Advanced] button on the "Settings" tab
page of the displayed window, and then change the
dpi setting.
