[Mail Setup] tab
Configure the settings to use together with the alarm mail and warning report mail functions of the recorder ( oper-
ating instructions of the recorder).
I Send to Address
Enter the mail addresses of the recipient of the alarm
mail and the warning report mail of the recorder.
Enter the mail addresses of the recipients for
"Address1" - "Address4".
Enter up to 255 alphanumeric characters including
hyphens (-), periods (.), at mark (@) and underscores
(_).
Up to 4 destinations can be registered.
Check the desired mail type (TRM/VMD/COM/ERR) to
be sent.
TRM: Terminal input
VMD: Video motion detection
COM: Command alarm reception
ERR: Error occurrence
I SMTP Server Address
Enter an IP address or a name of the SMTP server to
send e-mails. To enter an SMTP server name, it is nec-
essary to select "Manual" or "Auto" for "DNS".
Enter up to 128 alphanumeric characters including
hyphens (-) and periods (.).
I SMTP Port
Enter a port number of the SMTP server.
Default: 25
Important:
Do not change the SMTP port number unless send-
ing mails using the submission port (port number:
587).

I POP Server Address
When selecting "POP before SMTP" for
"Authentication", enter the IP address of the POP serv-
er.
Entry of a POP server name is available only when
selecting "Manual" or "Auto" for "DNS".
Enter up to 128 alphanumeric characters including
hyphens (-) and periods (.).
I Authentication
Select an authentication method to send mails from the
following.
Off: Do not authenticate.
POP before SMTP: Requires POP server authentica-
tion before sending emails.
SMTP: Requires SMTP server authentication before
sending emails.
Default: Off
I User Name
Enter a user name (login name) to access the server.
Enter up to 32 alphanumeric characters and marks
except (&) and blank (space).
I Password
Register a password to access the server. Enter up to
32 alphanumeric characters marks except (&) and blank
(space).
I From Address
Enter the mail address of a sender. Entered mail
addresses will be displayed in the "From" (sender) line.
Enter up to 255 alphanumeric characters including
hyphens (-), periods (.), at mark (@) and underscores
(_).
I Mail Subject
Enter the mail subject.
Enter up to 50 characters.
