Presser foot pressure

The presser foot pressure is factory adjusted
to a medium setting.
Should you wish to adjust it, simply turn the
knob in the direction desired:
Position of knob for normal pressure (M) =
Medium.
More pressure: for thick or stiff fabrics such
as denim, tweed, firm linen (H) = High.
Less pressure: for light-weight or sheer fab-
rics and knits (L) = Low.

nacisk stopki

Nacisk jest fabrycznie nastawiony na
wartość średnią. By to zmienić, obróć
śrubę w pożądanym kierunku:
- Normalny nacisk- (M) średni.
- Większy nacisk- (H) wysoki, do grubych
lub sztywnych mat. (dżins, tweed, płótno)
- Mniejszy nacisk- (L) niski, do lekkich
lub czystych materiałów

Sewing in tape

The standard presser foot is equipped with
a tape guide. A tape can be sewn into the
shoulder or side seams of garments made
from knits or stretch fabrics to prevent stretch-
ing.
• Turn handwheel towards you until needles
are fully raised. Match the matching up marks
on handwheel and side cover.
• Raise the presser foot.
• Lay the tape under the presser foot and
slide it carefully into the tape slot.
• Lower the presser foot.
• Sew a few stitches on the tape.
• Loosen the setscrew (A) and adjust the
tape guide to suit the width of the tape (B).
• Re-tighten setscrew.
• Raise the tip of the presser foot and place
work underneath. Sew.
Wszywanie taśmy
Standardowa stopka jest wyposażona w
prowadnicę taśmy. Taśma może być wszyta
w ramiona albo boczne szwy ubrań z dzianiny
lub mat. rozciągliwych by zapobiec rozciąganiu
- Obracaj pokrętło w swoja stronę aż
do całkowitego uniesienia igieł.
- Dopasuj do siebie znaki na pokrętle
i bocznej pokrywie
- Unieś stopkę.
- Połóż taśme pod stopką i ostrożnie
wsuń ją do otworu taśmowego
- Opuść stopkę
- Wykonaj kilka ściegów na taśmie
- Poluzuj śrubę (A) i dopasuj prowadnicę
taśmy do szerokości taśmy (B).
- Z powrotem skręć śrubę
- Unieś koniec stopki i umieść pracę
pod spodem. Szyj.
Nähfussdruck:
Der Nähfussdruck garantiert einen optimalen
Stofftransport. Der Druck wurde vom
Hersteller auf einen Mittelwert eingestellt.
Einstellung Nähfussdruck: Den Knopf in die
gewünschte Richtung drehen.
M Normaldruck: Grundeinstellung für die
meisten Overlockarbeiten.
H Hohe Druckeinstellung: für dichte und
harte Stoffe wie Jeans oder feste
Leinenstoffe sowie zum Aufnähen
von Gummiband.
L Leichte Druckeinstellung: für feine Stoffe
wie Chiffon oder Batist.

Pression du pied-de-biche:

La pression du pied-de-biche garantit un
entraînement optimal du tissu. Elle est réglée
en usine sur une valeur moyenne.
Réglage de la pression du pied-de-biche:
Déplacer le bouton dans la direction voulue.
M Pression normale: ce réglage de base
convient dans la plupart des cas pour
travailler les surjets.
H Pression élevée: ce réglage convient pour
coudre les tissus épais et rigides
comme le jeans ou le lin grossier,
convient également pour poser des
élastiques.
L Pression réduite: ce réglage convient
pour les étoffes fines telles la voile de
soie, la batiste.
Band annähen
Der Standardnähfuss ist mit einer Bandführung
ausgerüstet. Während des Nähens kann ein
bis 9mm breites Web- oder Gummiband
mitgeführt werden. Ideal zum Verstärken von
Quernähten in Maschenware oder zum
A u f n ä h e n v o n G u m m i b ä n d e r n a n
Schnittkanten.
• Nadeln hochstellen, Markierung an Handrad
und Seitenabdeckung nebeneinander.
• Den Nähfuß anheben.
• Band unter den Nähfuss legen und von rechts
in die Bandführung ziehen.
• Den Nähfuß absenken.
• Einige Stiche auf dem Band nähen.
• Stellschraube (A) lösen und die Bandführung
der Breite des Bandes anpassen (B),
• Stellschraube wieder festziehen.
• Nähfussspitze anheben, Nähgut plazieren.
Nähen.

Le pied standard pour le point surjet est
équipé d'un guide pour ruban.
P endant le travail, il es t possibl e
d'accompagner la couture avec un ruban
élastique ou tissé de 9 mm de large au max.
C'est idéal pour renforcer les coutures
transversales dans du tissu à mailles ou pour
poser des rubans élastiques sur les bords
coupés.
• Relever les aiguilles. Placer, côte à côte,
les repères du volant et du capot latéral.
• Relever le pied presseur.
• Poser le ruban sous le pied-de-biche et le
tirer dans le guide par la droite.
• Abaisser le pied presseur.
• Piquer quelques points sur le ruban.
• Desserrer la vis de réglage (A) et adapter
le guide (B) à la largeur du ruban.
• Resserrer la vis de réglage.
• Soulever la pointe du pied, placer
l'ouvrage. Piquer.
