Installing a drive

Depending on your server model, one or more of the following drives might be
installed in the server:
v Diskette
v Hard disk drive
v CD-ROM

Internal drive bays

The server comes with an IDE CD-ROM drive in bay 1 and a 3.5-in., 1.44 MB
diskette drive in bay 3. Some server models come with six hot-swap hard disk drive
bays; other server models come with four simple-swap hard disk drive bays and a
hard disk drive installed in bay 7.

down into the connector by applying pressure on both ends of the DIMM
simultaneously. The retaining clips snap into the locked position when the
DIMM is firmly seated in the connector. If there is a gap between the DIMM
and the retaining clips, the DIMM has not been correctly installed. Open the
retaining clips, remove the DIMM, and then reinsert it.
