Using the drive

This illustration shows the front panel of the 80/160 GB DLTVS Tape Drive
installed in an external enclosure.
Front Panel LEDs
The following table describes the LED (light emitting diode) indicators on the
drive front panel.

Loading tape cartridges

Attention: For best results, use only IBM recommended data and cleaning
cartridges. A current list of IBM recommended media can be found by going to
www-3.ibm.com/pc/support and searching for "MIGR-39931".
