Drive Cleaning
Cleaning
Head is cleaned by brush with every load/unload
Drive will indicate clean "C" on the SCD.
Clean is reported via tape alert.
Interval of cleaning is as required by drive.
Cleaning cartridge has "50 cleans" life
If clean is attempted with an Expired cleaner. It will
be ejected and "clean required" is not cleared.
If cleaning cartridge is placed in a drive that has not
requested a clean, a cleaning cycle will be
performed by the drive.
