Message Threads

Sent and received text and picture messages are grouped
into message threads. Threaded messages allow you to see
all the messages exchanged (similar to a chat program) and
displays a contact on the screen. Message threads are listed
in the order in which they were received, with the latest
message displayed at the top.
Message Thread Options
1. From the main Home screen, touch Messages
2. Touch for options.
• Select: Select desired messages.
• Delete: Delete the entire message and its bubbles.
• Draft messages: Display the draft messages folder
and its contents.
• Locked messages: Display the locked messages
folder and its contents.
• Scheduled messages: Display the scheduled
messages folder and its contents.
• Spam messages: Display the spam messages folder
and its contents.

• Font size: Configure the font size in use within your
Messages application.
• Settings: Access Messages settings. For more
information, refer to "Messages Settings" on
page 78.
• Help: lets you view descriptions of the Messages
functions.
Deleting Message Threads
1. From a Home screen panel, touch

3. Touch each message thread you want to delete, or
touch Select all.
4. Touch Done.

Message Search

You can search through your messages by using the
Message Search feature.
1. From a Home screen panel, touch
2. Touch
3. Enter a word or phrase to search for and touch
Delete.
