Samsung Keyboard Settings

From this menu you can set Samsung keyboard options.
1. From the Settings screen, under SYSTEM, touch
Language and input.
2. Touch the
icon next to Samsung keyboard.
3. Set any of the following options:
INPUT LANGUAGES settings are used to set up the
default language you will be using for input.
• English(US) is the default language. Whatever
language you select in the Select input languages
option below, will be displayed here.
• Select input languages sets the input language.
Touch a language from the available list. The keyboard
is updated to the selected language.
SMART TYPING settings provide access to additional
typing settings.
• Predictive text suggests words matching your text
entries, and complete common words automatically. See
"Predictive Text Settings" on page 108.

• Auto replacement automatically completes or replaces
the current word with the most probable word match after
touching the space bar or entering a punctuation mark.
• My hot keys creates number key shortcuts to enter
predefined words or phrases more quickly.
• Auto capitalization: Capitalize the first letter of the
first word in each sentence (standard English style).
• Auto spacing: Insert space between words.
• Auto punctuate: Insert a full stop (period) in a
sentence by touching the space bar twice when using
the onscreen QWERTY keyboard.
• Keyboard swipe: Combine the Samsung keyboard
with an additional input method choose from:
None: Enter text via the onscreen keyboard only.
SwiftKey Flow: Enter text by sliding your fingers
across the onscreen keyboard.
Cursor control: Control your cursor by moving your
finger across the keyboard.
Flick input: Flick upwards on a key to view symbols
and alternative characters.
