Folding out the ball coupling
Before you can tow a trailer with your ve-
hicle, you must fold out the ball coupling.
The release wheel is located in the boot
behind the trim on the left-hand side.

Risk of accident
Make sure that the ball coupling is engaged,
either in its folded out or folded in position,
and that the indicator lamp is off.
Do not turn the release wheel when a trailer
is coupled up. The trailer might otherwise
become detached.

E To open: turn handle 1 in the oppo-
site direction to the direction of travel.

Fold cover 2 down.

E Pull out release wheel 2.
E Turn release wheel 2 anti-clockwise.
The ball coupling disengages and folds
out from under the rear bumper. Indica-
tor lamp 1 flashes.
E
Press the ball coupling in the direction
of the arrow by hand until it engages in
a vertical position.
Indicator lamp 1 goes out. The power
socket folds away automatically.
