VVhen attaching the lens hood, align the index on the lens hood with the attaching index
on the lens, and push both parts straight toward each
other.
Attach the lens hood on the
lens by turning the hood in a clockwise direction, as seen from the front of the lens, until
it stops.
RSMemo:
• Vignetting occurs if the camera is used while the hood is not completely attached.
• The dedicated lens hood cannot be attached if a filter is attached to the front of the
lens. To use a filter and the dedicated lens hood together, attach a 43mm diameter
filter to the back of the hood. (Refer to page 33)
