Sertain inputs cannot be selected using the
*emote control
Remote control operation is not possible

No setup codes registered at for the respective
input(s)

The remote control is set to a different operation
mode
l
Batteries are exhausted
l
The remote control unit is too far away from the
main system, controlling angle is too large, or
there is an obstacle between the receiver and
the remote
l
The audio cords and system control cords are
not connected properly
l
No software is loaded in the source component
l
An attempt is made to play a tape which is being
recorded in the cassette deck
*The remote control has not been set to the
operation mode for the component you wish to
control
l
The microprocessor of the remote control mal-
functions
l
Register a setup code at the respectrve input(s)

Press the source select keys or source POWER
keys to select the appropriate operation mode

Replace with new batteries
l
Operate the remote control unit within the con-
trollable range

Connect properly referring to "Setting up the
system"
l
Place software in the source component you
want to play
l
Wait until recording has completed
l
Press the source select keys or source POWER
keys to activate the operation mode for the
component you want to control before opera-
tion
