The Desktop Controller software is compatible with Macintosh® OS X operating

For easy setup, you should install the Desktop Controller software on every Macintosh
computer in your network that contains music files, as it will guide you through the
process of configuring your music system and setting up access to your music files.

The Sonos Desktop Controller Software
The Sonos Digital Music System includes Desktop Controller software which allows
you to control your Sonos Digital Music System from your desktop. Once your Sonos
music system is set up, it's as easy as choosing a zone to play music in, making music
selection(s), and pressing Play.
