3.2 Windows Vista Sound Panel

At the heart of the new Windows Vista sound system is the Sound Panel, which can be accessed
easily from the popup menu on the "speaker" icon in the system tray:
By selecting the "Playback Devices" menu option you can display the playback devices in the
Sound panel:
Note that the Cantatis Overture 192 Audio Controller device is described as "Digital Output
Device (SPDIF)". This is because the Overture 192 combines analogue and digital outputs into
one device that provides fantastic audio quality on both analogue and digital outputs at the same
time and it is therefore classed as a digital output.
