MULTI JOG
< The unit can be programmed to turn on
at a specified time. The unit will turn off
60 minutes after the specified turn on
time.
< The unit can store 2 timer settings into
memory.
< Adjust the clock before setting the timer.

Press and hold the ALARM button (1
or 2) for more than 3 seconds.
"AM12:00" appears and the "ALARM 1"
or "ALARM 2" indicator blinks on the
display.
< If no button is pressed for 20 seconds, the
timer setting mode will be cancelled.

Turn the MULTI JOG knob to set the
start time, and then press the ALARM
button.
< From step

press the same ALARM button you
selected in step

Turn the MULTI JOG knob to select a
source (TUN: tuner or BUZZ: buzzer),
and then press the ALARM button.
< You cannot select "AUX".
< If you select BUZZ (buzzer), proceed to

If you select tuner in step

the PRESET button, and press the
ALARM button.
You can also use the FUNCTION button to
select FM or AM.

Set the volume using the MULTI JOG
knob, then press the ALARM button.
You could also leave the unit idle for 10
seconds instead of pressing the ALARM
button.
Setting the timer is now completed and
the timer is turned on.
The ALARM indicator (1 and/or 2) lights
up.

Press the STANDBY/ON switch to turn
the unit off (standby).
Don't forget to turn the unit off
(standby), or the timer won't work.

< If the unit is disconnected from the power
supply and the batteries have been
completely discharged for about an hour,
clock and timer settings will be lost.
In case ALARM 2 overlaps ALARM 1:
Example:
ALARM 1 (Start time: 7:00, Source: FM)
ALARM 2 (Start time: 7:30, Source: AM)
The unit turns on at 7:00 with FM tuner,
and turns off at 8:00.
ALARM 2 doesn't work at all.
To check the timer setting
Press the ALARM CHECK button to check
your timer setting.
The settings of ALARM 1 and ALARM 2
will be displayed one by one.
The corresponding ALARM indicator
blinks during checking.
< The ALARM CHECK button will not work
if no setting is stored in memory.
< To exit the checking mode, press the
ALARM CHECK button repeatedly until
the ALARM indicator stops blinking.
