Wall or Ceiling Mounting
Solid brick or concrete block walls must be drilled and
plugged (using a spirit level as a guide to ensure bracket is
level) with anchors. The anchors must be located in the solid
part of the wall, not just in the plaster layer.
Locate the heater on the mounting bracket ensuring that the
screws are fully engaged in the slots of the bracket.
It is important that the serrated metal washer (a) as shown
in figure 4 is located between the heater holding bracket (b)
and the wall mounting bracket (c). Adjust heater to the re-
quired angle then firmly tighten the fixing screw (d) inside the
endcap (e) using a Philips screwdriver (f).
Electrical Connection
The air curtain is designed for use on a 208/240v 60Hz AC
single phase supply.
Where local code requires the disconnection of all unground-
ed supply lines, an all pole isolating switch must be fitted to
facilitate isolation (20A minimum double pole switch for the
AC3N & AC45N, and 30A minimum for the AC6N).
Connection to the air curtain should be made using the pro-
vided terminal block (accessed by removing the front grille,
(see figure 5) with the use of appropriately sized armored
cable.
Ensure that the air curtain is securely fastened, and that the
supply cable is firmly attached using strain relief connectors
before operating the appliance.
Operation
WARNING: This heater must be properly installed before
it is used.
Three switches provide a choice of heat settings. A switch
is in the ON position when the side of the switch with the red
marking is exposed.
Switch 1 - Controls the electricity supply to the heater
!
NOTE: This switch must be in the ON position (red ex-
posed on the switch) for the heater to operate.
Switch 2 or 3 in the ON position (red exposed on the
switch) will activate the low heat setting.
Switch 2 and 3 in the ON position (red exposed on the
switch) will activate the high heat setting.
Thermal Safety Cut-outs
The power supply to the heating elements will be interrupted
if one or a combination of the following abnormal events oc-
curs.
