7.3. Speaker setup page
Downmix
Press the RIGHT arrow to go into the submenu. If you prefer analog stereo
signals, set the sound mode to "STEREO", press the DOWN arrow once to move
the selection to "STEREO" and then press ENTER. - If you want to have Dolby
Pro Logic stereo (the decoded signal will create a 2ch reality simulating effect via
the R/L connectors), select "LT/RT", then press ENTER.

Front Speaker

Select "Large" if you have a truly full-range speaker; or use "small" if your
speaker can't support more than 100dB at 20 Hz.

Component
Select "OFF" to display the video signal through composite output (yellow
RCA connector).
Select "YUV" to display the video signal through composite out or
component out using the included component cable adapter.
Select "VGA" to display video signal through D-sub 15 output (VGA
connector) if you are using a PC-monitor, the video signal will not be
available through composite or component out when VGA is utilized. This
function can be changed using the "VGA" key on the remote control.
Note: If you have a pink screen using component output, please set
"component" to "YUV"
TV Mode
This function is only available if you have selected component YUV on the
previous step.
Select "P-Scan" if you want to use your SDP832 for Progressive Scan (480p)
to maximize the video resolution using component (YPbPr).
Select "Interlace" if your TV does not support Progressive Scan.
Quality
Use this sub-menu to adjust Sharpness, Brightness, Contrast, Gamma, Hue,
Saturation and Luma.
