7.5. Preference Page
This setting can only be adjusted when no disc is playing.
TV Type
Select this menu to adjust the preferred video output format. PAL is commonly
used in Europe and NTSC is commonly used in the USA, South America and
Japan. Select MULTI only if your TV supports both formats. The output signal
will follow automatically the video format on the DVD disc.
PBC
For VCD and SVCD, this selection turns "ON" or "OFF" the Playback Control
(PBC) function. VCD or SVCD media have PBC menu's that contains the track
list. The default PBC status is set to "ON". When the PBC is set to the "OFF"
mode, no tracks can be selected.
Parental
For DVD discs with a rating system, users can lock or limit unwanted content that
might be unsuitable for children or simply undesired.
Selection 1 is Kid safe. General audiences, all ages admitted.
Selection 2 is G some guidance advisable.
Selection 3 is PG. Parental guidance suggested, some material may not be suitable for
children.
Selection 4 is PG13 Parents strongly cautioned, some material may be inappropriate
for children under 13.
Selection 5 is PGR Restricted, under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult
guardian.
Selection 6 is R. Restricted viewing.
Selection 7 is NC-17 restricted for viewers 17 or under.
Selection 8 is for Adult Entertainment or X rated movies.
After your desired selection you will be prompted to enter a password. If the
ex-factory password has never been modified, you can use [123456] by pressing the
according number buttons on the remote control and press ENTER to confirm.

Angle Mark

When playing a DVD disc with angle mark selected ON, the screen will show the
angle mark. This will give you the possibility to view the DVD from multiple
angles. This feature will only work on DVD's recorded with multiple angle
content. When you have selected OFF, no angle mark will be displayed on the
screen.
Captions
Select ON to display subtitles and select OFF to disable subtitles.
Screen Saver
When there is no activity with the player for period of time, a screen saver will
automatically start to prevent possible damage to the screen. Select ON to activate
the screensaver function (recommended) or select OFF to disable this feature.

Last Memory

When last memory is selected ON, the player will remember the exact position of
the video being played. The unit will resume playing from this point foward.
When this feature is turned OFF the player will start playing from the beginning of
the DVD.
