5. Basic SDP832 operation
If you have properly connected the solé DVP832 player and loaded the batteries
into the remote control, then you are now able to enjoy using the DVD player.

5.1. Playing a DVD

1. Press POWER on the remote control or
the DVD player.
2. Make sure your TV or monitor is set to the correct video input mode (i.e.
VIDEO IN, COMPONENT IN, or PC IN). The video input mode you select
will depend on how you connected the solé DVP832 to your video display.
3. Insert disc in the front loader as illustrated below with the label side facing
upward. Only insert a single disc at a time.
The disc will automatically insert inside the DVD player and will begin to read it.
The player will identify the disc format and then display it on the screen of the
DVD front panel. The DVD player will automatically begin playing the disc. If
the menu or directory displays on screen, press the direction buttons [▲]/ [▼]/
[
]/ [
] on the remote control to move the cursor to the desired track or
selection then press ENTER to confirm your choice.
You can use the numeric key pad to directly access a desired chapter or track.
