Remote Keyless Entry (Rke) System; Remote Keyless Entry (Rke) - Chevrolet Malibu 2007 Owner's Manual

When a new vehicle is delivered, the key has a
bar-coded key tag. This tag may be removed
by your dealer/retailer before it is delivered.
Each tag has a key code on it that tells your
dealer/retailer or a qualified locksmith how to
make extra keys. Keep the tag in a safe place.
If you lose your keys, you'll be able to have
one made easily using this tag. If you need a
new key, go to your dealer/retailer for the correct
key code. See Roadside Assistance Program
on page 481 for more information.
Notice: If you ever lock your keys in your
vehicle, you may have to damage the vehicle
to get in. Be sure you have spare keys.

System
If the vehicle has the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
system, it operates on a radio frequency subject
to Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
Rules and with Industry Canada.
This device complies with Part 15 of the

cause undesired operation of the device.
